Finally getting the hang of it!

I have changed the name of my blog as I think this defines a lot of choices I make in life.  This blog was started "because I can" and as I learn a bit more about this type of stuff I hope to make it a little more interesting.  First I have to find out how to make one of those FANTASTIC headers that everyone has instead of this generic one.

My life has nothing if not full on lately.  I have muscular dystrophy and as the condition progresses I am becoming more weak and therefore falls are becoming far too regular.  The last 4 years I have broken and ankle, both knees twice and my humerous.  The 2nd break to the second knee only happening last week so I have to have my leg in a brace straight out in front of me for 6 weeks.

Anyway, on to the more fun things.  I have sent my very first scrap page into and online comp/gallery today and am feeling quite clever so now I am going to add it to my blog.....hopefully.

Busy Times

Life is full on right now.  Gordon has a full time job as a Business Machine Mechanic and is busy rehearsing for a play he is in - "Death in the Limelight".  Kurt is working at Civic Video and is training to go away to Brisbane and play futsal for the Mackay/Whitsunday U15 team.  And I am happy as I have had a couple of days of solid crafting and the sun has been shining.

Bring on the warm weather!

Well, here I am back for round two.  It has been awhile since I entered anything but I'm still trying to get the hang of this.  I'm not loving this cooler weather and eagerly await being able to put my blankets away.  Had a great night with the girls at the movies on Monday night - great company and lots of laughs.  Not much crafting done this week as I had a migraine for 2 days.  I had started a couple of layouts so I am looking forward to getting back to them.  If I manage to work out how to do it I will put some photos of my work up. 

A day of learning

This is my very first blog and I have absolutely nothing of importance to say.  I am just teaching myself how to do this so here begins the journey.
